Toyota Motor Sales, USA is pleased to announce pricing for the 2011 Scion Minor Change xB. Pricing will be made available to the public on Tuesday, March 16, 2010.
MSRP for the xB four-speed sequential shift automatic and five-speed manual transmissions are $16,950 and $16,000, respectively. These represent an increase of $150 over the 2010 model year.
The Minor Change xB enhances both style and function with updates to the exterior and interior as well as adding two new exterior colors.
The xB exterior has an updated front and rear bumper, grill, and lights which convey a more aggressive overall image. The unique front bumper has enlarged outer vents, improving vehicle stance. The single rear backup lamp has been integrated into the combination lamps to produce a more refined appearance. The new honeycomb grill and improved headlamp design complete the exterior styling changes.
The xB interior changes start with updated seats for the driver and front passenger, including larger bolsters for greater comfort and stability. Front and rear seats have a new light gray fabric with a geometric pattern for the seating surfaces contrasted by black fabric covering the bolsters, bases, and backs. A combination center console with sliding armrest has been added to increase driver comfort and utility. Improved gauge cluster design with black background, along with a separate clock and outside temperature display, provides better visibility to information. Completing the changes, the steering wheel now includes both telescopic and tilt functions.
The two brand-new exterior colors are Army Rock Metallic and Elusive Blue Metallic. The Hypnotic Teal color will be discontinued with the new model.
