Fifth?

Ill have my car paid off by the time the IQ gets here :) Horray for mpg and >$20,000 price tag :)

I already call electric blue paint job :)

the xA is DEF dead. they dont sell it no more and it was replaced with the xD so FOURTH

again, it will be the FOURTH car in the line up. and the xA does NOT count as one since its no longer in production. xB, xD, tC(replacement), and IQ which will prolly be called sumthing diff when it is released. although since toyota already owns taht name they might as well just use it lol

So theres a tC replacment coming out for 2009? That should already be out then, correct? Or are they releasing 2 cars, the "iq" and the tC's replacment in 2010?

wow adam...how did u get this confused. yes the 09 tC is already out, owned, and driven by plenty. the tC replacement is a "oh-10" car. i dont know WHEN the iQ will see our shores. it is however confirmed that it will be the fourth car in scions production line up.

lol me twosies! im hearing the tc replacement got pushed back to 2011 model year release. as in, next year. but still with toyota/scion not releasing a REAL sports coupe on the level of the 350 ima prolly still have to jump ship and graduate to subaru. but i bet the replacement will still make me jealous.

BFTD!!!
Hopefully the new one is a little more performance minded. I'll be watching/waiting!!

On another note; I think the tC had the "S2000" affect on 'yota. The S2000 dropped in '00 as an "anniversary" car and ended up running 10 years straight with minimal change ( AP1 to AP2 ) due to it's popularity. Car-for-dollar is what made it so popular. The '00 S2000 was faster, handled better, AND got better gas mileage than an equally priced GT mustang. Did I mention it was also a convertable and cost less to insure? eIt rode this selling point until the market caught on and caught up. The 350z which released later still had a hard time beating it on a track. Even with rumors flying in '07 of the S2k being terminated, Honda pushed it 3 more years.
The tC came in at the price of an LX civic with more power, more options, full TRD catalog, Toyota quality, etc.... which still stands today. Even with all the rumors, I see 'yota milking this tC for everything it's worth. Here's to the car we love now and the car we will STILL love in the future, even if it might be a subie-yota mutt!!! lulzz

This was the last I heard. Lots of good links in the writing as well. Atleast it would get the subaru owning scion haters off our back lol

Wow. It's like the DSM thing all over again, only this time with much more capable manufacturers If I may be so bold. I'm now incredibly anxious to see how this turns out!
